is a DJ and performing singer/guitarist and who has performed at more than 1000 weddings. He founded All Ears DJ in 2010 to offer an alternative to cheesy wedding DJs and share great music with good people who let loose on the dance floor. Richard is an active DJ in the Bay Area with residencies at Bar 355 and Ruby Room as well as select engagements from SF to Oakland.

In his former life as a Midwesterner, Richard wrote about music for publications like Rolling Stone and The Pitch and served as the music director for KJHK 90.7FM. He currently fronts the bands Hidden Pictures and Lesbian Jungle while living in Oakland with his cats Miss Cleo and Rambo.

In addition to deejaying your reception, Richard can perform live acoustic music as you walk down the aisle. Singing and playing guitar, he can learn your favorite songs or draw from a catalog of songs spanning artists such as The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Cure, Queen, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Drake and many more. Visit the All Ears YouTube page for samples.

Richard is also no slouch on the decks, incorporating creative beatmatching, looping, and sampling into his performances. Peep his mixes on Mixcloud to hear more than 100 live mixes. In 2019 he also lunched a goofy YouTube series called "No One Asked A Wedding DJ" so he wouldn't have to audition his new standup comedy bits at your wedding...

"When we started our search for a wedding DJ I basically gave up hope that we'd find someone that would "get us" and actually play music we wanted to hear. They all seemed a bit "cheesy" and no one was unique. Then I came across Richard!! I will forever be thankful for Richard and his ability to make our wedding fit us as a couple. I have goosebumps just thinking about how special he made our day for us." (Trisha B, 9-10-13)
