Ask any of the dozens of musicians that have worked with HEIDI LYNNE GLUCK about her talents and you’ll discover one common thread: the girl can play anything.

 

Whatever instrument; whatever song; whatever tasty riff or perfect harmony… Heidi’s got it. Heidi cemented her position as a crown jewel in Lawrence’s songwriter landscape with the release of her 2016 LP “Pony Show”. KCUR called the album “a beautifully made reliquary which houses those feelings we attribute to being human.” Her twenty-year journey toward her emergence as a solo artist followed years of sidekicking as a hired gun for critically lauded acts like Juliana Hatfield’s Some Girls, Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s and The Only Children.

 

Heidi’s songwriting carries forth the tradition of her heroes Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young. You can bet she knows a tune or two from each of them, as well as covers spanning Fleetwood Mac to Beatles to Cheap Trick and beyond. Heidi’s ace-in-hand is her ability to perform classic wedding piano music such as “Canon in D” and “The Bridal Chorus” from the “Wedding Songbook” her mom bought her way back in the ‘90s. Thanks Mom!

 

Heidi currently performs as a live musician for ceremony and cocktail hour. Her ceremony services include 30 minutes of prelude music as well as processional and recessional tunes. But to really get the most goodness we recommend also having Heidi provide the soundtrack for cocktail hour (60-90 minutes).
